Dairy Exporters’ Rating: July 2017
The export of dairy products from Ukraine in July 2017 in monetary terms amounted to 23.6 million dollars, which is 5 times more than in July last year.
According to the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB), in July, the main export groups remained butter (41% of export earnings) and milk and cream condensed (36%). Exports of cheese brought 11% of revenue, whey 8%, milk and cream of uncontaminated 3%, dairy products 1%.

The leadership in the export of milk powder and cream belonged to the trading company “TEP” Vertical” (13.5% of export in physical terms). It was followed by Vinnytsia Dairy Plant Roshen (10.9%), Belotserkivska Agro-Industrial Group (7.5%), Ruzhin-Moloko (5.3%) and Veselynivsky Skim Milk Plant (4,1%). Thus, the five largest exporters provided 41.3% of the supply of milk powder and cream abroad in July. Top-5 exporters of butter in the specified period: Vinnytsia Dairy Plant Roshen (11%), Starokostiantynivsky Dairy Plant (8.1%), Radyvylivmoloko (6%), Alma-Vita (5.5%), Ternopil Dairy Plant (5.3%). These companies provided 35.9% of butter exports. Five major cheese exporters shipped nearly 80% of the total volume of supplies from Ukraine in July. In particular, Bel Shostka Ukraine – 31.6%, Como-Export 21.4%, Milkiland Intermarket 9.5%, Laktalis-Ukraine 9.2%, Cheese Club – 8.2%.
